HURACAN SPYDER

Lamborghini officially announced the new Huracan LP 610-4 Coupe days ago. Therefore, the Spyder version will be the next major product announcement from the Sant'Agata Bolognese manufacturer.

STORY HIGHLIGHTS
Everyone must be patient. There's currently a year long waitlist for the Coupes. Plus, the Spyder version isn't expected to roll out until June 2015.

The Huracan will be the most produced Lamborghini ever.

It replaces the wildly popular Gallardo. The Gallardo sold over 14,000 units over its 10-year lifespan, equating to roughly one-half of Lamborghini's 30,000 models built since the company started in 1963. The Huracan may get some competition from the Lamborghini Urus, if they actually produce this SUV. It's possible that this new luxury SUV will turn out like the Porsche Cayenne, which outsells all other Porsche models.

A new dimension in luxury super sports cars.

If the Aventador is anything to go by, expect the Huracan Spyder to be like a Targa styled convertible.

According to Twitter, people are already calling it the 'Baby Aventador.' Most people prefer a true convertible because it aesthetically looks better. But, the Targa style is more practical in terms of chassis rigidity, safety, and in reducing wind noise in an automobile that can go 202 mph.

PRIVATE PREVIEW

As expected, VIPs get to see it first before the general public.

Next month the Huracan will tour 130 private preview events in more than 60 cities throughout the world. In March, it will officially be presented at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland. Enthusiasts can't wait to see it.
